Client Visit
I enjoyed listening to our client and her ideas during class last week. Right now I am still trying to really understand what exactly we are really going to do and less of what she is going to do overall with her program. I really enjoy my group I feel that it is a good mix of people.

Interview Mistakes
I do feel that these are all very valid mistakes of what to avoid for your interview. However, I feel that a really big one is that you dress appropriate for your interview. You should not show up to your interview wearing a t-shirt and jeans if you are interviewing for an office job. However, you should not show up wearing a shirt and tie for an interview to work as a cook at a restaurant. Another thing is you should not talk back to your interviewer, no matter how wrong they might be. They must be treated with the up most respect because remember they are the one in charge of hiring you. You need the job, not them.

Random Blog
So today we are supposed to blog about anything. I am going to talk about why I think that there should be a salary cap in Major League Baseball. Right now it has gotten ridiculous how that every off season it is the same teams that compete for the top free agents. (I.E. Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Cubs, Dodgers and Angels) Unlike in the NFL, where there is a salary cap in place, there is no real parity in MLB. Yeah you have the random uprisings of teams with low salaries such as the 2003 Florida Marlins or the Tampa Bay Rays from last season, but all in all it is the same teams competing. I feel that with a salary cap: it would bring parity to baseball, help infuse fan interest back into the game, and make the main focus of front offices into developing and scouting talent and not who can sign the biggest check for the free agent all star. I know this is like arguing for a play off system in college football (I am a fan of the bowl system personally) but I feel that this is something that is going to have to be done if Major League Baseball is to establish itself as a major sport instead of falling further behind the NFL and NBA.

My life
Well for this blog I need to talk about what I would like to do with my life. My job I would like to have some job where I get to interact with people because I am a really good people person. I think that is a good area for me, one of my real strengths. Right now I am not too picky about my job though because with the economy the way it is, I should just be really happy to have a stable job with good pay. Down the road I would like to get married but I would have to be sure that she was the one. I think after college I am going to be more likely to get a dog than anything at first. I really want a Blue-Tick Coon Hound.

Hey hey everyone,
My name is Bryson Toole. I am from columbia, south carolina and I am a management major. I like baseball, football, and hockey. My teams are the Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. I watch Entourage, House, Hells Kitchen, and Family Guy. My favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption, Gladiator, Fever Pitch, and Dumb and dumber. I like country music but will listen to about anything. My favorite artist are Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Jimmy Buffett, and Counting Crows. People say they have never really seen me not smile and I am really easy to get along with. Other than that not really much else.

The last leg
Well since it is my last blog I thought I would wait till the last moment to post it just to keep you on the edge of your seat. My favorite thing we studied this year was the rhetoric lesson I thought that was pretty interesting. My least favorite was the art museum but then again i liked getting to do something different as well. The blog did in fact reflect technology as did the war rhetoric one as well. I liked going over the songs in class because it helped to bring a total understanding of the songs instead of them just being words and sounds. Well for one last time I would like to say...Bryson out

12 Angry Men
I am not going to lie this was a good movie, it really surprised me. I liked how each character was a different personality with different perspectives. I liked how juror #5 didn't jump the gun or coform to the rest of the group. I liked how he worked everything out and tried to play out every possible possibilty that was facing the boy. This helped the rest of the jurors understand where he was coming from and see the flaws giving them reasonable doubt about his guilt. The most effective tool I think he used was how he talked to each juror as a fellow peer in a calm, respectful manner instead of yelling at them, degrading them, or the manner taken by the other jurors. Overall I really enjoyed this movie.
